JG Flooring offer a full parquet floor fitting design and installation service of all types of hardwood parquet floors for domestic, period and commercial clients. The parquet flooring can be fitted in an array of designs including brick, ladder, herringbone, chevron and weave.
When installing the parquet flooring we can offer a choice of border styles to frame the floor using single or double planks. There is also an option of using solid wood flooring planks in various width if preferred. To add effect and style to the floor, we also offer coloured strips in various wood finishes that are fitted between the parquet pattern and border to suit your requirements.
Our service also includes a complete rip out or renovation of your existing parquet flooring as part of our sand and seal service. Parquet flooring is a great solution for replacing tired old floors as it not only looks great when first fitted, it also looks better once it has aged and worn amongst its settings.
Over the years after fitting, your parquet floor can be sanded, sealed, varnished, treated and stained several times to bring it back to its former glory.
There are unlimited types of parquet flooring available including original custom patterns to standard patterns, although they are still installed using the same technique i.e. glued to a concrete floor or subfloor.
The designs and patterns achieved with parquet flooring can not usually be possible with regular laminate, engineered or solid wood flooring.
