The term Parquet refers to the style of pattern used in the design of the individual planks. The wooden planks are laid in a pre-designed pattern and the number of variations is infinite due to the amount of styles, colours and species available. Some of the more popular patterns include herringbone, basket weave or chevron although we have installed many other designs
Parquet Flooring comes in a huge range of wood types including Oak, Cherry, Maple, Walnut and Teak. Various thicknesses are also available depending upon budget ranging from 6mm to 10mm. The individual square edged flooring are pinned or glued to a sub floor of plywood. The completed flooring is then sanded for the perfect finish.
