Every wooden plank is made up of approximately 3 or 4 layers of wood that are bonded together in a strong geometric method to increase the strength of each plank. The average thickness of engineered flooring is 14mm.
The real wood layers allow it to be sanded like you would real wooden flooring to bring it back to its original look and feel.

More expensive than laminate flooring and prices range from around £11 per sqm and in excess of £70 per sqm when choosing premium materials such as maple and teak.
Where can you install Engineered Wooden Flooring?
Like laminate flooring, engineered flooring can be laid in most areas in the home but must not be exposed to water or humid conditions. It is more difficult to install than laminate and is best laid by a professional installer.
