Another project wrapped up, and this one was a real showstopper
We were invited to complete a luxury cinema room flooring installation at a stunning private property in Stow-on-the-Wold, deep in the heart of the Cotswolds. The brief was clear: create a smooth, premium finish that would elevate the space while complementing the dark, immersive feel of a high-end home cinema.
The flooring choice was Staki Cuba Smoked engineered oak – a beautifully rich, smoked finish that adds depth, warmth and understated elegance. Perfect for a cinema room where atmosphere matters just as much as performance.
As with many character properties in the Cotswolds, the subfloor presented a challenge. Years of movement had left it significantly uneven, which meant careful preparation was essential before any flooring could be laid.
